fretwork using various materials (wood, perspex)

"Fretwork is my passion. I learned how to cut plywood around 1971-’72 by myself, without anyone showing it to me or without any previous documentation".

For the former teacher of physics and mathematics it was enough to see a fretwork chandelier while visiting a friend to say "I want one!".

He speaks with the accuracy of a mathematician and lightens up with passion when speaking about how he learned his techniques to do such intricate fretwork as we see around his home.

He describes himself as a meticulous person and this helped him obtain almost anything he set out in life. His skill quickly became known first among his friends, then even further. Over time he received many requests which he then worked out passionately, gladly taking on each new challenge.
